River Edge Parkway
Running through the heart of the River District is the Wisconsin River and along its banks, the River Edge Trail. The paved walkway system extends both north and south of the River District and invites you to take a casual stroll to enjoy the beauty of numerous parks, a world-championship kayak course, the foundation site of one of Wausau's original sawmills, a youth skate park, and various other sites.
